Peripherals

Nureva® audio systems support a range of external peripherals to extend functionality and integrate with broader conferencing and AV ecosystems. These peripherals enable users to customize their setups, enhance audio workflows, and connect to both local and network-based devices.

Supported Peripheral Types

Nureva audio devices can work with multiple categories of peripherals, including:

External microphones

Additional microphones used to complement built-in Nureva microphone coverage for specific scenarios.

Analog input devices

Devices that bring external audio into the Nureva system, such as mixers or other audio sources.

Analog output devices

Devices that receive audio from the Nureva system, including amplifiers, recording systems, or assistive listening solutions.

Camera switchers

Devices used to switch between multiple camera feeds during meetings or presentations. Currently, full support is available only for the INOGENI® CAM230 camera switcher. Other camera switchers may have limited or unsupported functionality.

IP Devices

IP devices include network-connected hardware such as IP cameras and displays. These devices communicate over the network and provide telemetry data through endpoint snapshots, similar to other components in the system.

CV30

The Nureva CV30 is a 4K ePTZ (electronic pan-tilt-zoom) camera designed for classrooms and meeting spaces. It features automated AI tracking that follows the presenter, an 84-degree field of view to capture the whiteboard, and three customizable preset views.

Subwoofer

Subwoofer can be connected to the HDX to add greater richness to in-room audio experiences. There is a dedicated port for subwoofer connection on the HDX system hub.

Nureva Audio Device

Nureva audio devices include connect modules, system hubs, audio bars, and microphone pods.

Compatibility Considerations

Support for peripherals varies by Nureva audio device model. Not every device supports every peripheral type due to differences in hardware capabilities and system architecture.

A compatibility table on this page provides a high-level overview of which peripheral types are supported by each Nureva audio device.
